Galanthus rizehensis Stern (Amaryllidaceae) was collected from Maçka, Trabzon during flowering and fruiting seasons. Quality control studies and quantitative determination of lycorine were carried out on the prepared specimens. In this respect, assays for humidity, total ash, sulphated ash, hydrochloric acid-insoluble ash were performed on each drug specimen.
