ABSTRACT
In this study, the ethanolic extracts were prepared from the roots and aerial parts of Geranium pyrenaicum growing in Turkey, their antibacterial and antifungal effects were tested using microdilution method in vitro and compared with the herbal drug that contains Pelargonium sidoides and P. reniforme root extract. In our study, G. pyreniacum has been found to have antibacterial and antifungal activities, which are similar to those of the herbal drug that contains P. sidoides and P. reniforme root extract.
