ABSTRACT
In the present stiidy the qualitative and guantitative analvsis of phenolic acids siich as chlorogenic (! /', caffeic (CFA), feriilic (FA), rosmarinic (F4) and p-coimiaric acids (PÇA), tyere performed bv using high pressure lii/nid chro-matography in the aerial part and the root extracts of Scorzonera tomentosa L. (Asteraceae) which were collected from five different regions of Anatolia. Chlorogenic acid was determined as majör phenolic acid content of Scorzo-nera tomentosa. The calibration cun’e was established as Y=23.21X- 21.83 (r2= 0.999) for chlorogenic acid and the highest concentration M'as determined in the root extract oflozgat sample with !300.090 6.732 pg.
